Best ground Feeder while gone on vacation.

Lucky to find this "Automatic" Bird Feeder @ Walmart after searching many websites. We feed Doves, Ringnecks, Finches, Sparrows, Juncos, Helmetheads, and other freeloaders in So Cal backyard, so to leave on vacations, needed a good self-feeder. This one holds a lot of feed (8lbs /-), but after a 11-day Oregon vacation, the little guys had emptied it all! So, ordering another. Might mention that the perforated plastic bottom holes let water drain thru in rains but are small enough to keep 95% of the smallest Millet seeds in the Feeder.

Attractive, large birdfeeder, which I am looking forward to using. So far, I have been unable to locate in Canada, the post designed to install this feeder, so have not yet set it up. It is a heavy feeder and requires a strong post, or a hanging post with a strong footing.
