Great little brush!

I really like this brush! I make biscuits and homemade bread and use this brush with the melted butter. It's easy to clean and is very handy!

Adequate but not like they used to make

Sometimes it is helpful to have more than one pastry brush so I got this second one. Although this 1" pastry brush is adequate, it is of lesser quality than my other 1" brush. It is clearly smaller than my old one (which was also labeled as a 1" brush). The wood handle is rough instead of smooth and the bristles are shorter. Also, the thickness of the new brush is literally half the thickness of my old brush. All brushes are probably not the quality they used to make years ago, and since it is still functional, I gave the rating a three instead of anything less. I wouldn't say you should not buy this brush (it is functional) but don't expect too much.
