Not heavy and is wonderful to use!

I bought this because it is much lighter than the cast iron kind. I use it often. I use it mainly to make stuff like teriyaki chicken with vegetables and with this I'm able to make a lot at once. I'm using it like a grill. it will also make a lot of grilled cheese at once. I am totally 100% happy with this item and I have not had any issues at all. Do I recommend it? I absolutely do.

Wonderful!

I can't sing enough praises about this reversible stovetop griddle. We have always used a portable, plug-in griddle. So, this was a new experience for us. And after using it, I am hooked! Let's begin with all the reasons why we love it. For starters, the non-stick coating is done very well and keeps anything we have cooked from sticking. Its durability has already held up through several family meals and will, no doubt, last a long time. Next, having two sides, griddle side and grill side, all-in-one is such a great time and space saver. We can cook our asparagus without it getting soggy. Flip it. And grill fresh fish. You name it, it can cook it. The grill is easy to clean and maintain and will be a great tool for preparing your meals. From grilled chicken to cheese crisps, pressed sandwiches to veggies, the double-sided grill and griddle will not disappoint.

The Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle measures seventeen inches by eleven and three quarter inches. You can use the flat side to cook pancakes, eggs or whatever else you want to cook. You can use the grill side for grilling meat, fish and veggies. Each side of the Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle has raised edge that is about half an high. That raised edge will keep the juices from making a mess on whatever you are cooking on. You can use the Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle on your gas stove top (front to back, not side to side), ceramic stove top, electric stove top. You can also use the Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle on your charcoal or gas grill. The Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle is also oven safe. The Nordic Ware Deluxe Reversible Grill Griddle is very versatile and I am glad I have mine. Hand wash only. Nordic Ware is a family owned American company.
