If you're in between sizes I recommend sizing down since the waistband only stretches and doesn't have a waist tie. I am usually a 3-4x and I purchased the 4x and they ran pretty big even folding the waistband down once they're very loose. I love the material and feel though so will be repurchasing in a 3x

Big girl approved! I am 300lb and 4x is huge! I sized down to 2x. I am going to return the 4x pair. Just for sizing reference, 4x is 28W-30W. So hopefully the 2x is 20W-22W which is my actual size. They are very soft and comfortable for lounging around the house.
