Incredible 265/60/18

Well it was time to replace the Goodyear SR-A that were oem tires on the Durango. We put the G2 on and talk about a huge difference. We actually drove through some puddles today and the tires just moved the water out of the way and kept going straight, no hydroplaning to speak of at all. Ride quietly was much improved to the point I am very pleased with my purchase. These are much louder than normal highway tires, but nothing over what you get from a AT tires.

2nd set

this is my second set of the terra grappler, i will say these are my favorite and best set of tires around. they are very quiet, no vibrations even when im pulling 14,000lbs. i rotate them every 6,000 miles. my first set lasted up too 64,000 miles. well worth the money!

G2rrrrrific!

I have a 2011 Tundra DBL Cab 4.6L V8 4X4 with a 2.5" ProComp Leveling Kit, KMC XD795 Hoss Machined w/Black rims, and 285/65r18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires. These bad boys look good. I was torn between Toyo Open Country A/T II, Cooper Discoverer A/T3, but I am happy I bought the new G2's. Competitive price, visually aggressive and yet smooth on the road. So far, I have put just about 1,000 miles on these tires and they have some noticeable road noise at highway speeds but I am also comparing them to the original stock Michelin tires that were not off-road worthy. As far as wet road conditions, I took a street corner too fast during the first rain of the season and felt the tires lose some lateral traction as I whipped the truck sideways, but they gripped to the road when I straightened my rig out. Understandably first rain = oily roads. Overall, great purchase of awesome tires.
