2 sets, 2 performance trucks and quite happy

I have 2 performance trucks, one is a cammed/nitrous 2007 Ram 1500 4wd with a 2/4 drop, the other is a 2009 Ram 1500 Sport 4wd with a 392 stroker with a D1SC supercharger @15psi and a 175 shot of nitrous dropped 4/6. I push both trucks hard and I have been very happy with the performance of the NT420S both in 265/40R22. The '07 is still on its first set of 420s at 65,000kms and the '09 cooked a set off in 45,000kms and will be replaced with a set of 285/40R22s. I'm having trouble finding rubber that will plant a 30" tire with 640ft-lb short of my drag radials but for highly aggressive daily driving they are great. Both trucks have seen the drag strip on my street tires and if you roll into the launch they handle it quite well but they're not a drag radial by any means so I don't expect a low 60ft. They handle my top speed runs very well with the '09 peaking at 273km/h. I have autocrossed my '07 with these and the soft side wall does allow the tire to roll over a bit in the very aggressive turns. Living in Canada I've left my wheels on a little too long and got them into the first couple of snow falls and these tires are OK in snow by which I mean I can get around in 4wd and not get stuck until I get my snow tires put on. I wouldn't leave them on all year if you normally expect snow but they will handle the occasional snow with confidence. On the rare occasion I do tow with these trucks I can get a respectable weight in the bed/on the hitch and with the helper bags it's the tires that take the weight. They are a soft sidewall which means they will bulge quite a bit when loaded and that's the only downside I've found with them.

The 420S

I will never buy any other tire for my truck. Not only does it handle amazing but it just rides phenomenal. Price point on them is perfect. No complaints at all. I would HIGHLY recommend these tires. They are like nicotine, once you try them..you'll be hooked forever!

On a Sports Car --- Awesome

These are supposed to be on trucks/suv's, I know. I have a set of 265/35R22's on my 2016 Challenger and love them. The tread lines look amazing on them and they perform. The hold tight on corners and perform better than expected in the rain. I was nervous at first about truck/suv tires on my sports car, but I love them. Quiet ride and great performance.
