Great Tire

I wasn't able to find many reviews on this tire and reluctantly purchased them. So far I am glad that I did. These have, so far, been the best all season tire I have ever purchased. They are much quieter and more comfortable than expected, comparable to the Michelin Primacy MXM and the Conti Pro Contact. They way out performs both of them. I can be confident and ignore the maximum safe speed signs when entering or exiting highways, and on twisting back roads and easily go 20 mph faster than posted without tire squeal. Weather is no problem. The tires handle wet surfaces almost as well as dry surfaces. They grip the road extremely well with light snow, 2 or less inches, also. I was also pleased with the look of the tire. They are a little wider than the previous two tires I have had, and both the sidewall and tread pattern look more aggressive than the pictures indicated.

Good Riddance to Goodyears

Replaced the factory Goodyear F1's with Nitto Motivo tires that should last a while. The stock tires were noisy and worn out in less than 15k miles. The development work that went into these tires suggests reasonable mileage in a high performance tire. This is a game changer, as I can have all season performance in a tire that will last more than a single set of seasons. Research through enthusiast forums has shown nothing but praise for these tires and the initial drive didn't disappoint. On the freeway home, I drove through a heavy downpour and these performance tires really let my Dodge Challenger hold the road without any drama. Based on the piece of mind I now have with Nitto tires, I can't wait to put Nitto Dura Grappler tires on the family pickup truck!

Silent, all-season PERFORMANCE tires

I've had these for 43k miles. They're very quiet, which is why I will definitely buy them again, and why I recommend them to everyone when they can actually find them!!! They handle amazingly well in the dry or rain. Hydroplaning is rated 7 out of 10 by me. I only had problems maintaining the (70mph) speed limit once, on a Florida panhandle interstate in the middle of a complete downpour, my OEM (loud, but otherwise fine) ContiPros were better at only that when they were new. These are a firm riding tire, which aside from them not being astonishingly good at hydroplaning, is my only non-10 score. It took 35k miles for the tires on my bent rims to get loud after the tire place finally decided to rotate them to the front. They evidently never rotated them for the first 40k miles, even though I took them in every 5 - 7k miles. Still, I'm pretty impressed with their treadlife, the rear ones are pretty much bald now, but the front two are at somewhere around 6/32" left. I'll be replacing these 225/45r17 with a 225/50r17 Nitto Motivo when I buy new rims to replace these bent ones.
