The performance of this saw was a bit startling. It cuts very quickly and cleanly. The battery life was also a pleasant surprise. The batteries have a power indicator feature, and I was surprised to see the battery indicate, at level 4 (full battery), after 15 to 20 minutes of wood cutting. I figured that I would have drained the battery to at least 3/4 (level 3) with the usage.
