Excellent value and makes fast work of liquifying ice cubes!!! The blender is lightweight and the pour spout is large enough to feed slices of fruit (apples, etc) but must warn that the sound level is equal to the power; LOUD! If have roommates or thin walls it's so loud it will be heard. I cannot complain bc I'm 30 yrs married to a rooster 🐔 and I'm a night 🦉 owl who gets to kitchen around 9am. This blender is 100% worth every penny and so happy i bought to replace a much quieter but 100X heavier and did not do as well as thus one. If need a simple to use ti basic blender for smoothies %26 blending run to buy this one.

I love that the blades go all the way up...the blade is not just at the bottom. So it makes the job easier because when you put frozen fruit in it, those blades start working fast. And because of that, It grinds up ice and/or frozen fruit very small so your smoothies are very smooth going down your throat. You do have to make sure you put the top on a certain way but I'm sure that's a safety feature. I just wasn't used to it. I am now since I've used it many times.
