Please cushion ceramic items for shipment 2cust

Pkg had a small dent on top of box and when opened the handle of cup was broken in 3 places. Notified Walmart's. Given a code but unfortunately FedEx was at a distance and I became I'll asking my son to return pkg at specific date and he could not bc code was on my phone and FedEx required me to personally come in. Being I'll I could not so absorb the loss. Lesson learned: be cautious of ordering ceramic items.Thank you.
