Product will go bad

I purchased a 8 oz bottle two years ago and went to use it for the first time a month ago and it had this horrible, horrible smell, like very rotten eggs. Maybe it was a bad batch and the only way to write a review was to purchase another bottle. Can't return it... Hopefully this bottle will not go bad.
