Great Val Kilmer screen presence.

Great movie. Upon hearing about Mr. Kilmer's passing, I was reminded of this film, and that I hadn't seen it in 20 years. I ordered the DVD. I enjoyed it much more than before. The scenery, the story, the screen presence of Val makes it a memorable film. David Crosby plays a small part as the bartender. That was a nice surprise.

Thunderheart is awesome

One of Val Kilmer's best roles. In this movie he plays a naive FBI agent who goes into a region to supposedly stop the natives from causing trouble for their operation. Aling the way he discovers that its all a sham, and the "goid guts" are really the bad guys and the root of the problem. Its great fun, has an awesome cast and tells a great story.
