DRYERBOX MODEL DB-4D(Downward Dryer Vent 2x6): 22 gauge aluminized, heavy molded steel construction recessed dryer vent box with gas port for downward venting, measures 4.25 inches deep from nailing flange. Mostly for 2x6 construction but will also fit into a 2x4 wall that has been firred out with one 1x2 firring strip. For standalone dryers. See Model DB-425 for stacked dryer or one on a pedestal.

DRYERBOX MODEL DB-350 (Upward Dryer Vent 2x4 ) -Our Model 350 is designed to accommodate installations that require a shallower stud bay or additional space behind the Dryerbox. This model's depth from the nailing flange to the rear is 3 1/2" and will fit in a 2 X 4 stud bay. It is important to note that Snaplock pipe becomes "ovalized" when drywall is secured to the studs. To handle this compressed state, model 350s have an oval port. This makes attaching transition hose a little more challenging but is a compromise to support unusual requirements.

DRYERBOX MODEL 425 (Upward Dryer Vent 2x6): Our Model 425 favors an upward exhaust direction in new construction and is designed to accommodate installations that provide stud depth equal to or greater than 4.25”. This model's depth from the nailing flange to the rear is 4.25" and will fit in a 2 X 6 stud bay or 2 X 4 studs with 1" furring strips. The Model 425 remains the most popular of the 7 current versions and features the original design. Mounting upright is the intended orientation of this receptacle, but it does work on its side. Mid-wall installations work great for this model going up or down but only for a dryer stacked above the washer.
