I purchased these for several reasons: 1. Price. Couldn't beat it. I like to ride that fine line between you get what you pay for and I don't want to break the bank on something that I won't wear a lot. 2. Comfort. I have had a couple pairs of carefully selected NB in the past and they work well on my wide feet. I had a foot surgery 6 months ago and my foot is still pretty tender so I needed something that had a wide toe box 3. Cute! For hiking shoes, they're pretty cute. They performed better than I even hoped. Snow, shale, bouldering. They were great in every scenario.

I own 4 Pairs, 3 in use, 1 for backup. Different colors. I love these sneakers, I wear them for everything. Daily, hiking, yard work, everything I broke my ankle a few years ago and it still hurts. Having the high top support is a life saver. Fresh foam is the way to go.

Great outdoor shoe!

Pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and waterproof these were. I wore these for 6 hours straight in pouring rain across 5 back to back outdoor soccer and lacrosse games. As previous reviews stated, definitely go up 1/2 a size. I'm normally an 8.5 and a 9 was perfect. And can't beat the price.
