The 990 has been and continues to be my go-to shoe for all-around activities. Some may see this shoe to be “dated” and it has been around forever. This review is for v4. I have had pairs since there was no version at all…just The 990”. It's that good. It's “solid”. It lasts. It isn't seasonal. It's a shoe for all seasons. No, it's not for competition although I have worn it for “recreational sports and it serves well.
