Back in the 70's, this was produced as "Instant Breakfast" with added vitamins and minerals. It was a favorite of teenage girls everywhere, even before the days of Stanley Cups with lids!. Girls would be standing at the bus stop with a big old glass. The Chocolate Malt Flavor was my favorite. They no longer make it, but you can stir this into a tall cold glass of milk and relive a little of that glory. Add ice cream and mix for a chocolate malt. As an adult it's a little too sugary sometimes, but still is delicious. I keep it on my counter, ready for a little pick me up chocolate malt!

I'm 73 years old. I have been using this chocolate malt product for at least 66 years of my life. I will take chocolate malt over plain chocolate anytime. I was on a specific diet for a long time and I would take chocolate malt in my milk to my Card groups. People would ask what I was drinking and I would tell them it's chocolate malt milk. When they ask me to explain, I would tell him I put chocolate malt in my milk. They were always surprised and would ask me how I managed to do that. I was amazed at the fact that nobody seemed to know that this product has been on the market for their entire life. After I told them several people came back and told me later that they went out and purchased it because they too love the flavor of malt. It mixes in cold or hot milk beautifully. I have sprinkled it on my ice cream and it's gorgeous. I have even made a chocolate malt syrup to put over my ice cream for a sundae. A little tiny bit of milk with a half cup of chocolate malt until it is easy to pour. Wait a few minutes to let it fully dissolve then make it again and pour over ice cream. Over chocolate or vanilla or almost any flavor you like it is fabulous.
