BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A All Terrain 235/75R15 109T XL Passenger Tire

I love these Trail Terrain T/A tires. I installed them a few weeks ago on my F-150 that I use around the farm. They handle nicely out in the fields and get me where I need to go, and they have a good load rating for when I need to load up the truck. They provide a smooth ride down the road, are quieter than I expected, and seem to have good steering response and cornering ability. They have full depth sipes, unlike two different brands of cheaper tires that I looked at whose sipes were cut into the tread only about halfway, so I know the traction will be good until the tread is worn out. I went through two sets of BFGoodrich Radial Long Trail T/A tires on my truck years ago when I was on the highway a lot more, and I got over 60,000 miles on each of those sets, so I've been really happy with BFGoodrich thus far. They cost more than the other tires I looked at, but they're a quality tire with good tread width from shoulder to shoulder for its size, and they look nice too. The open white letters add a nice touch to an old truck.

I chose the Trail-Terrain BFGs because they were as close to “off-road” as I could find without a lot of lug noise. They handle well for highway travel - smooth and quiet. On rough gravel roads they have good traction and control. I haven't been in any mud yet so can't comment on that. So far, about 10,000km and no noticeable wear. They look good and I would recommend them for most pickup trucks.
