Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP Real Butter Popcorn, 4.4 oz.

This is seriously the best flavor. It's sooooo hard to find in the stores and online. All of the sugary flavors seem to be in abundance, but this one is rarely available. Or, it's being sold by third parties that charge an arm and leg because they count on the scarcity.

When I looked at the nutrition panel and saw that clarified butter is used in this popcorn, I expected something pretty bland, but I HAD to have popcorn at that moment, so I bought it. I love it. The butter flavor is light, subtle, and reminds me a lot of the much greasier butter-slathered popcorn my mother used to make on the stove top. The salt is also subtle, but its flavor is bright and fresh. The kernels are big and tender. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that, while all the packages I've had so far (6, I think) have had surprisingly few "old maids" (the last package had only 1), there do seem to be an unhappy number of loose hulls that go straight to my crown and wedge between it and the tooth next to it. That may be my own personal dental problem, and it's surely far from being a deal breaker for me, but those hulls do cost this review 1 star. Overall, I think, it's a good quality product I will buy again.
