Excellant Unit

I bought other units in the past, which turned out to be made in china or cheaply made in the U.S.A and they were full of cheap transformers and diodes. These units all failed me and the companies would not repair them under warranty. However, I bought this new Tripp Lite 24 volt unit and I will tell you, is it ever a lot better and it takes a lot less power to produce the output. For example, I could only do 1-2 loads with the industrial washer with those cheap units and the batteries would be dead! With this new unit no kidding I can do up to 5 loades now using the same batteries!! Would highly recommend.

Real powerhouse!

I have been using a Sunforce 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter (11260). It is rated at 5000 surge wattage but it will dump the load and go into fault mode at 3000 watts! Yes, my cables are oversized and a very short run from my battery bank. My Pv2000fc or my Pv2400fc will out power it. Either one will hold the starting surge at full rated inverter capacity until the start load settles down to run load. Another irritating aspect of the Sunforce unit is that it is regulated at 61.5 hertz. I have to reset clocks & timing devices every day. The Tripplite Pv series inverters are a rock steady 60 hertz under load! Any load I have connected to them operates just fine with modified sine wave current. The only problems I have had was with battery backups for my computers (ups). They must require pure sine wave because the alarm goes off with modified sine wave. Would recommend these Tripplite units to all.
