Absolutely just perfect.

I've had this projector for about month. I researched projectors for about 2 months, tons of reviews, both written and video reviews, looked at all the different features, and types of projectors, from UST, laser, DLP, LCD, etc. I bought and returned 2 before I bought this one and I didn't even think I was going to buy this one because I already have a audio receiver but it does not support 4k so I was looking for a projector with audio out, but my receiver supports optical audio in. The solution for me is PS4 Pro Video to the projector via HDMI, and Audio to my receiver via Optical out. The resolution is just amazing and the black levels better than anything I've seen on any projector, purchased (and returned) and in demo rooms. I highly recommend this projector to anyone who wants a good quality product. I have seen rainbow effects on other projectors before but none at all on this one. This projector also supports 3d which I haven't tested but I will soon. I have this in a dedicated home theatre room, so I can't comment on the usage of it in a brighter room. It's not a smart projector so you need a Chromecast, Apple TV, PS4 in my case, or some other streaming device connected to it. Again, after all the research I did I am very happy with this projector. It's bigger and heavier than my previous HD projector so I had to figure out a way to make it look good in the basement. After measuring and thinking about my options I was able to put inside a properly ventilated storage room, and with the zoom, and lens shift flexible options it was a perfect setup.

Amazing 4k Picture!

I am blown away by the 4k picture watching movies has taken it to another level compared to my 1080p projector I replaced. Well worth the upgrade.

Critical Mass

I have always felt that with a given technology you reach a point where every additional step in quality is inordinately expensive. I believe it is possible and sensible to know when a satisfaction level has been reached. I got there on the 2 channel audio side a few years ago and have been content to just enjoy the music. I now believe the video side has been reached with the Sony VPL-VW325ES. This looks to me to perform at the level of some of the best TVs.
