We had a lot of rain this summer. My pool turned a nasty green so after we shocked it, we added this such a game changer. It was nice and clear overnight but you gotta let your pool pump run for 24 hours. I bought extra. I think I'll stuck up this winter to make sure I have enough for the summer.

Had accident with pool winter cover dumping some sludge into pool when removing it. Turned pool brownish-green. Used the algaecide after shocking %26 getting balanced, and it did a good job in helping clear the water. Helped make the job easier. Be sure to follow the instructions %26 don't pour it directly into the pool without diluting it per the instructions.
