This is better than everything else we have used to get out the waxy buildup. Amazing. Out of desperation, We even tried grease removing dish soap which had terrible results. Scalp really suffered and has been difficult getting things back in balance. We had also tried the vinegar/ baking soda/ alcohol tips, with mediocre results. Spray the individual dread buildup and massage it watch it break up, then follow with shampoo/conditioner. We dilute the shampoo so it's easy to rinse out of super dense dreads. We used a shampoo with tea tree oil to help prevent flakes. This remover is made for the hair and did an excellent job. I'm guessing it won't be available for long. Anything I really like and works great disappears. Stock up while you can. Follow up with a natural scalp oil or leave in. We used lemongrass and sage with castor oil as the carrier.
