There is no way these chairs would hold anyone weighing 650 lbs! My teen boys weigh 200 lbs and these thin chairs were already creaking. I picture them holding up a couple of family gatherings/parties but don't expect them to last very long or with prolonged sitting. Unfortunately, these were the only “heavy duty” chairs I could find at Walmart for my Thanksgiving party. All the other chairs were flimsier than these.
