Manufacturer could have done a much better job with installation instructions to remedy the obvious problem everyone is having with releasing tension on the spring. I also couldn't figure it out. It took coming here and seeing another reviewers comments to tap the allen wrench with a hammer. I tried that and it immediately loosened and became super easy to manage after that.

Easy to install. Easy to tighten. Difficult/impossible to loosen. Instructions simply don't help. I cannot press and turn counter clockwise. Maybe superman could. Unlike other models, this does not have pin to remove.
