National Commando HTS All Season 235/70R16 106T Light Truck Tire

I needed 4 new tires and ran across the Commando Hts in my search. The mark down from the orginal price was on the mark, 65,000 mile warranty plus the description made me look into this tire. There was not one review good or bad on this tire, but from one of my searches it has been around for a couple of years. It was not on any do not buy lists because of defects and by using the zoom I could see that Thailand was marked on the side. I did look into this and discovered that not only does Thailand produce a lot of rubber, but there are a few big USA Tire companies that manufacture their tires in Thailand. So I purchased them. When I took my car in to have the tires mounted, several of the mechanics came to look at these tires because they had never seen this particular brand. I've had the tires for about4 weeks and this I can say for sure. I have had my For Escape for 9 years and I can really tell the difference in the ride .Smoother, less jumpy on fairly rough road. Noise reduction is noticeable, but if you have a mid size or smaller car you have to wear ear plugs to reduce noise. My mechanic told me they were good, solid tires. They look good, ride good and I am satisfied.
