I had gotten a different tent initially and tried to put it on my truck. It was a waste of my time and I immediately sent it back. This tent was clearly from the beginning, a much better and higher quality tent than the first one. It does require Two people to put together in a shorter amount of time then what it took for me to put it together by myself. But I was able to put it together by myself. The instructions were clear and concise. I would suggest putting it together on the ground first and then picking it up and putting it into your pick up truck bed. But it is very awkward by yourself. I would suggest also having a, maybe telescopic ladder to assist in putting the rain cover on. Overall, this was a very nice tent and it was worth the money. I have not yet camped in it or had to deal with a rainy situation, but it does look like it can easily handle it.
