The futon will come in a large box, and is already completely assembled, except for the legs. These (and the associated screws) will be located in the futon itself on the back side within a zipper. All you have to do is screw the legs on with the hex wrench they give you and you're done. For around $150, this futon is really a great buy. The material feels like leather, and the futon itself is sturdy (just don't fall or stand on it obviously). It is also cushioned enough to sit comfortably for a long period of time. Three people can actually sit on it comfortably so it's definitely large enough. My only delta is that the mesh material on the back side can rip easily so just be careful not to puncture the back material.
