I'm one of those people that always forgets to wash their water bottle so eventually the cap ends up growing mold, but since Nalgene makes the cap separately so that you can just purchase a replacement, I've been able to use the same water bottle for a long, long, long time without worrying about the mold issue. I also like that it has a locking latch so that when you drop it as long as it's latched, it doesn't spill the water everywhere every time!
