I not only like this thing, I love this thing! I've used several vacuum sealers over the years, usually the cheaper $30 to $50 ones, all of which haven't lasted very long. I vacuum seal a whole deer, at least one sometimes two, every year and all the fish I catch year round, well over 250 or so. I'm gonna try this sealer out and see how far it goes. So far, so good but I haven't had it very long. If I can get 3 years of use out of it, I would buy another one just to have a back-up on hand. At that price, I'd rather take a chance on this model every few years rather than a higher dollar one. If I had to change anything at all with this one, it would be the sealing time. It takes a bit longer to seal than what I'm used to but maybe that's why it'll last longer than others in this price range. I love the "one touch" sealing button and your done. I prepare the next bag while this one is sealing. Very simple and efficient. Highly recommended.

I gave this item five stars for its value. it is the best priced functioning vacuum food sealer that I could find. it worked as expected every time except for when I overfilled the bags. just don't be stingy with the bags.
