Works Great

I bought this to solve an issue with the brake lights not coming on soon enough after a four piston power brake upgrade on a modified 1967 Mustang. I would have to push too far to get the brake light to switch on. I installed the inline brake switch and now as soon as I touch the pedal the light comes on. The switch was installed in between a factory union so I didn’t have to flare a line and bleed the brakes. Super easy and great product.

A great solution with one caveat. ...

Great piece to incorporate a brake light switch into your system. Due to the switch having NPT pipe thread and the brake lines being inverted flare, you only have one option for orientation. Also, when the switch is installed, you will not be able to access the "hold-down" bolt or screw straight on. This will make your installation just a little tricky. Also plan on using a button head which has a lower install height to clear the switch body. This means you cannot get a wrench on a bolt, it will most likely be an allen head WHICH means you'll need to install the switch after the junction block is final fit.
