Instructions
How to use a dog pad1. Unfold and place the pad, plastic side down in a confined area, away from you and food.2. Place your dog on the pad several times so he can smell the pad and get used to it.3. While your dog is eliminating on the pad, use a phrase like "go potty" so that eventually you can use the command and your dog will understand what it means.4. Immediately after your dog eliminates on the pad, reward him with praise and a treat.5. If your dog has an accident, bring him back to the pad immediately. Continue bringing your dog back to the pad to reinforce that this is the place to go potty.6. Dispose of soiled pads and replace as needed. To complete house training, gradually move the pad closer to the door and finally outside.

These pads are fantastic. I bought a big package of super cheap pads and when my little chihuahua would use them at least 1/3 of the pad would be wet. His little feet would get wet and then I would have pee foot prints on the floor. When he goes on these there is only a small spot a few inches in diameter and he doesn't get wet feet. Since these have been out of stock I bought an expensive premium pad and they don't work as well as these. I can't wait until these are back in stock.

These are the best pads I have ever purchased. My husband bought them and I'm still amazed at him and them. I'm heading back to the same store and hope they still have them in stock. I have 2 small dogs and they are perfect. No run off or leak through like the majority of the pads we've purchased. They remind me of Huggie baby diapers. They don't gel up but hold like the do. Highly recommend these; at least for smaller dogs.
