Cap could be improved

This works great for my sensitive skin. I don't get irritated or red. The smell is pleasant. The cap is messy and could be improved. It says it can be rinsed or tossed in the washer, but that doesn't really work for me since I live in an apartment with a shared washer. I can't walk back to my apartment with no cap while holding my laundry basket and there is no sink. I don't have any issues with the cap on my other laundry detergents that I usually buy.

I have been using 7th generation laundry detergent for years. I'm particularly partial to the lavender scent but will also use the free and clear. The scent is not heavy and perfumy, just a hint. It doesn't offer a lot of suds but it's still cleaning. In hard water it will need a bit more, but soft water just a tiny bit. Not only does it rinse cleaner, but cloths keep their color longer. Always looking fresh, not faded. I would kid that it's moisturizing my laundry. We have no skin irritations to this and there is no sticky or powdery residue.
