Technics EAH-DJ1200 Professional DJ Headphones

I recently bought these for cueing mixes for DJ work, and I can finally ditch the crossover cable and the “industry standard headphones” where the cable runs down the right side and only the left side swivels. That was the easiest way to get them to have the cable run down the left side…wear them backwards and use a crossover cable to play the left stereo content on the red side cup, so I can cue with the left year and listen to the house with the right year by swiveling the cup by the right ear. People used to say, “you're wearing them wrong.” My response is “It's been corrected with a crossover cable and they built them wrong for my use case. All other headphones built them correct for my use case.” Goodbye to the craziness. Hello, Technics DJ1200 headphones. I can swivel either side, and the cable runs down the left as all my headphones do. This sounds great for cueing and loud enough to be able to do so in a loud club environment. I use this only for this purpose as I have other headphones for mixing down tracks and critical listening. Why almost perfect? If only they were like another brand and allow the cable to run on either side as an option, it would be perfect for everyone cueing mixes as some want the cable to run down the right side and cue with the right ear and listen to the house with the left ear (like the “industry standard headphones” are configured for). I personally don't need that feature, but would be nice. My new favorite DJ headphones and I will keep replacing it with this as long as Technics keep making them. These are my new Industry Standard headphones for DJ mixing.

Been Using these Headphones for more than a Year, almost every other day. The usual time wearing them is around 6 hrs per session. I DJ Bass Heavy Tracks. These Headphones have been my favorite on every aspect. Sound Quality, they stay Put in my Head with no fatigue or pain whatsoever. Best choice for long term use of headphones
