I really love this set. I bought it as a quick purchase when I was making some cowboy candy. It worked perfectly but I do wish the fun was metal instead of plastic, but I know a lot of people prefer plastic and for the price point you can't beat it. The jar lifter itself a slight downgrade than buying the $14 jar lifter on its own but the kit is cheaper and gives you a head start on your canning equipment for a reasonable price
