Bought this to replace blown 8" JBL Woofer that came with 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Perfect fit. No adapting. Sounds better than original.

nice upgrade over factory sub
Was not an exact fit into my 2001 chevy tahoe factory sub box. I had to trim it around the edge so it would fit but it was well worth it. Upgraded all factory speakers to pioneers, a DEH6910BT radio and added a separate amp and .5 farad cap for the sub. I will get getting another one with the pioneer sub box. I couldn't be happier.
