Key item features
Ready Brake works by using the weight and momentum of your towed vehicle as it pushes toward your motorhome when you brake. This activates the lever on top of the brake system which is connected to your towed vehicle brake pedal with a cable. When the lever moves forward it proportionally applies the brake in your towed vehicle. When you drive the motorhome forward it relieves the pressure that your towed vehicle was applying from its weight and momentum while braking which de-activates the lever on the brake system and releases the towed vehicle brake. Vacuum pressure does not build up in your towed vehicle brake system's master cylinder while the vehicle is turned off but this is no problem at all for the ReadyBrake. ReadyBrake is strong enough to activate the brakes without using the towed vehicle master cylinder.
Features- A supplemental tow brake and break away device is required by law in many States and Provinces when towing a vehicle 4 wheels down.
- The ReadyBrake will fit on any tow bar with a 2 in. receiver.

Add not correct it is full kit
WalMart had the lowest price. Under $460 with shipping. It cam direct from NSA. Only problem I couls see ia WalMart does not do a good job with the add. It comes as a complete kit all the cables and wires needed for both the Toad and the RV. Walmart does not say so.

My brake system
This unit was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a system that worked without all the electronics and this seemed to fit the bill. The important part to remember is the adjustment and allow enough slack so that the actuator freely moves.
