They seem to get off the thread and you actually had to wiggle them back-and-forth to fit right so they were tighten up other than that. Great goodbye for the money.!!!

I use these bedside and they are just what we needed. Lower lamps have adjustable arms for reading and the top light is perfect for general lighting reflecting off the ceiling. Assembly was easy and they look beautiful. Comes with bulbs too! NOTE: these are not dimmable but that's not an issue for us.
