Realistic Toes; Soft Body--Kiddo Loves This Doll!

This is a birthday present for our son, but he accidentally saw it. He has to wait a week. Haha! He's very excited. Our son loves taking care of baby dolls and pretending to be a dad. Role playing with dolls is such a healthy activity for youngsters as it enables them to act out what they are learning from the adults in their lives. Children get to practice taking care of others and being responsible. Dolls are not just for girls. Boys can learn a lot from active roleplay with dolls. Doll play reinforces positive behavior and helps children work through stressful times (such as a pandemic). This doll is a baby boy—which is one reason why our young grade schooler is super excited to get it on his birthday. Pros: *The doll has a very soft body. *The doll has realistic knee dimples and toe wrinkles—adorable! (See photos.) *The “skin” is a soft, snuggly type of material. *The baby carrier is somewhat realistic in that it can be propped like a reclined sitting chair or the handle can be swung around to be carried. (Yes, real babies should not be left in the propped position of baby carries for too long as some have suffocated and died in their sleep while in that position—but this is a toy. See photos.) *This doll comes with very cute clothing. (I love the ears on the hoodie.) *This doll is a baby boy doll in a world flooded disproportionately with baby girl dolls. Cons: *None. (Although my son would argue that he doesn't want to wait for his birthday to receive this doll…lol) I recommend this doll.

Love it

I was so excited to receive this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I knew it would be the perfect doll to get my son who is always stealing his sister's babies. Not that he couldn't play with girl baby dolls but I thought it would be fun to get him a boy! He loves the car seat it came with. I love that it has a soft body and isn't just one solid body of plastic. The doll is quite cute. The clothes aren't removable which I honestly prefer or I find doll clothes everywhere and am continually asked to put them on as soon as they are ripped off, always when I am elbow deep in sink water doing the dishes! So that is another favorite feature of mine. The car seat isn't anything special but I don't think it NEEDS to be. It works great for other dolls similar to this baby's size. My son loves it. I love it. I'm so happy with it.
