I used to have a small one that I clipped on my visor but the clip broke, which is what lead me to this one. It is 3 or 4 times the size of the old one, so it was a little bit of an adjustment to get used to hanging from my rear view mirror. Once I got used to the bigger object hanging there, I love it. It shows my son closer in the backseat. It is a well made mirror so I feel like this one will last for years to come

Not good for SUV's

Way too small if you have an SUV and the child is rear facing; back window is too far away to see. Would be OK in an SUV if child was front facing, or if child is rear facing in a smaller sedan.
