Hard Winter Helper

Have heat pump with auxiliary heat that does fine even during a couple recent hard winter freeze episodes...but, during one hard winter (12 -18 degrees a couple nights) I had issues with breakers under the house flipping due to the heat kicking on & off and during another hard freeze we lost power for hours when the grid failed. Getting this large size with hose and plug in module cord for built in blower fan mainly for backup. Small camp propane cans or regular propane bottles are a cheap way to supplement heating our home.

Fantastic backup heater

By the filter and connect to a #20 propane tank - it makes it so much easier to manage. This heater produces serious heat. We leave it on low at night and it keeps us warm in a 27' RV. Not too hot and not too cold - just right. Even though it says for indoor use, we crack a window and have a carbon monoxide detector ready to go.
