Prevent damage from grinding
I have noticed I have been grinding my teeth while awake and that my tongue keeps getting painful bite marks along the sides especially on the left side. I'm trying to pay special attention to it during the day and wearing this guard during the evening and all night. Easy to fit! It becomes very soft when placed in hot water. I microwaved the water I used and it may have been too hot. The guard folded in on itself and I had to carefully spread open and place over teeth. Make sure It is evenly placed before biting down to mold it to your teeth shape. Mine ended up a little longer on the left side but it was no big deal, that was the side I was looking to protect the most. Comfortable and not irritating. I put mine on the top teeth only because they are the sharpest. It does make the top lip area push out but hasn't been uncomfortable. I always brush and floss before wearing and rinse well before and after use.
