Make sure you got your phone from Verizon

I wish I could have had a chance to see how this thing worked but it was not compatible with my Moto Z3. It won't work on my phone because it was not purchased from Verizon even though I am on the Verizon network. I bought my Z3 from Amazon and there is software that isn't compatible with this moto mod. And u can't change it. So as long as you got your Z series phone from Verizon and and are on an eligible 5g plan it should work.

Battery is shot after being in storage so long.

Battery has been sitting so long in Walmart's storage it will only hold a charge for about 2 or 3 hours. *this mod was released around 7 years ago* It will only Connect IF YOU HAVE VERIZON 5G ULTRA WIDEBAND; WILL NOT WORK WITH 5G NATIONWIDE. Other than that, was in good condition, snapped onto my moto Z3 and was immediately detected. *must be charged before phone can detect mod. Fact that the battery is shot is the main reason for the 2 star review. as well, it only works with a moto phone bought from Verizon, and the Mod must be branded verizon, and you need an ultrawide band plan for it to work. i also believe you need a Post paid plan, and Pre-paid plans do not work.
