Defective fuel filter

The fuel filter that is under the hood is defective, it came apart. I had to pay the mechanic anyway and now I have to pay him again to install a good one. It has been over a week since i notified Walmart and I have not heard anything back from them.

Fuel filter under the hood came apart at the seam. Diesel fuel went everywhere and had to call a friend to bring me another one so I could drive the truck home. Happened within 1 hour of driving after the filter install.
