The Motortrend Heavy Duty Cargo Mat appears to have a good thickness to it. The mat has large texture on it to keep your belongings from sliding around in the back of your vehicle. It will fit a multitude of vehicles because they were thoughtful enough to put lines into the texture so you can cut it to fit any vehicle. When I pulled it out of the box I did notice a "chemical" smell but it disappeared quickly.
