Motel Hell (Walmart Exclusive) (Steelbook) (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray), Horror, Shout! Factory

Is this a good movie? No. Is it a fun movie. Yes! This was a childhood favorite of mine back from the 80's watching it on cable (it's crazy what our parents let us watch back in the day as kids). I never thought this would ever get released on Blu Ray let alone 4K since it never made it to DVD. When the regular edition Blu Ray was released I bought it. When the remastered Steelbook Blu Ray was released I bought it. When the 4K UHD was released I bought it. Now there is a 4K Steelbook and I bought this too. It's a nice Steelbook and I know from watching the regular 4K UHD that the transfer is amazing as well. This low-budget 80s flick has no business looking this good but it does. I'm glad to see Shout Factory's commitment to releasing lesser known titles like this. I would have to say this is the definitive version of this movie. I don't see it getting any better than the 4K Steelbook release unless they one day decided to release a super-deluxe edition that comes with smoked meats LOL. Buy with confidence. This is the version to have.

This brings a comical horror to the screen. I remember watching it with friends back in the day. We were intrigued by the ways they come up with how to murder and slaughter the victims.
