Monster High Skulltimate Secrets Monster Mysteries Playset, Abbey Bominable Doll with 19+ Surprises

My granddaughter is 7 and told me she loves these dolls so, this grandma did what grandmas do. I bought her several of them for Christmas. I was very surprised at how well made they are plus the fact that they are all different encourages children to know that we are all the same. When I bought them I expected the, to go the same way as her Barbie dolls, that is to play with them when she has company, but nope; she plays with them all the time. I highly recommend these dolls.

My 4yo is absolutely thrilled, and reviewing as her 40yo mom, I will say it's beautiful. I knew nothing of the history of MH until recently and I myself have fallen in love with the G3 "ghouls." There are thoughtful details that are unique to her monster type, Abby (a Yeti) has hair texture on her plastic ears for example. The accessories that come with the closet are cute and I appreciate a change of MH clothes without buying a whole new doll (hint hint Mattel) but they only make the number of looks advertised with a literal math problem. 1 glove v 2 gloves don't count as different looks to me. I wish the closet was more functional, as is I'm not sure my daughters will get any long term use from them. Bottom line the set does feel expensive at full price so wait for a sale if you can.
