Monster High Scare-adise Island Draculaura Fashion Doll with Swimsuit & Accessories

I bought this for $8 on sale for my daughter. I would not have paid more for it. These dolls are cute but way different from what they used to be. They dont seem to be as durable as before and their hands break easily. They are meant to come off to change outfits, but the little piece that connects them back on has completely broken on other ones we have purchased. My kids are not rough with their toys, so it is in fact the product, not the play that caused it. Also, they still have plenty of hand me down older ones that are still perfectly in tact. The other issue is a good/bad thing. They ahve changed the dolls sizes. All monster high dolls used to be the same size for the most part. So they could share clothing. Not the case anymore. Draculaura is THICK in the hips so she won't fit other dolls clothes. I realize in real life, this is a thing ... but these are dolls for children. They don't care what size the doll is. They just want to dress them up in their favorite doll dresses and sometimes that doesnt work with these dolls. They can mix and match with other Draculaura outfits but not with all of their older versions of Monster High. Again, not a deal breaker- but it has caused some annoyance for my 7 year old who is very partiuclar about her favorite dolls and doll clothes.

Because the product was on sale, the price was satisfactory. Regular price is ridiculous. The quality is as good as top brands like Barbie. The best thing though is the service offered by the employees at this store. They are so fast and polite! They don't get enough praise for the convenience they give to the customers.
