Monster High Clawd Wolf Fashion Doll with Pet Gargoyle Bulldog Rockseena and Accessories

This review is being done by an adult doll enthusiast and amateur doll photographer. Let's begin. The doll does not get special until it is removed from packaging. However I found his hair to cover those beautiful elf like ears a disappointment. He comes with an extra shirt and oh my when you take the jacket off he is ripped. He has ripped muscles in his arms and stomach not overly bulky but perfectly proportioned to his body size. He is completely articulated: neck, arms, elbows, wrist, waist bends, knees and ankles. Clothing wise you get 2 shirts, a jacket, pants, tennis shoes, a pet, a bag of chips, an energy bar, a water bottle, a phone, 2 earrings in his upper lobe ear and the cutest black duffle bag that does open up to store things. The accessories alone give you a bang for your buck. I do highly recommend this doll to my fellow adult doll connoisseurs if not just for the body and accessories. As a gift for children, especially those with pets or younger siblings, there are small pieces not terribly small but small. A small baggie would do the trick for the accessories or the duffel bag it comes with. The only regret I have is not getting 2 for the body or a makeover.

I'm an adult doll collector who has recently taken an interest in generation 3 of Monster High. Clawd is my first boy doll of the line and as such I did not expect to be wowed by him (boy dolls generally do not get as much effort put into them as girl dolls do, but I like to have them regardless). In this case, that could not be further from the truth. His design is adorable, he has tons of little details like the fur on his jawline, wrists and ankles, the scratches and moon pattern on the bottom of his shoes, the cresent moons in his eyes, his earrings and the molded fur on the bottom of his duffel bag for a few examples. I'm a big fan of his varsity jacket and his sleevless tee, my only qualms being his noticable lack of pockets (something the girls who wear pants generally have) and the zig-zag cut at the bottom of his jeans but that's just personal preference. He has 13 points of articulation (At the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles) Noteably he is lacking the chest joint that the girls have but I suppose it's made up for by his ankles. His gargoyle pet has no articulation, and as such is just a stagnant figurine. As for his 3 age limit, I strongly disagree as someone with a 3 year old sibling, I would definitely not trust him with such tiny accessories, of which Clawd has many (including his iCoffin, the pawprint charm on his bag, his earrings, his growl-nola bar, his removable hands and the lid of his water bottle). His hair is also pretty delicate, any pulling of it will completely ruin the styling, and his hands are very difficult to remove (which is necassary to put his jacket on) and that could easy result in a broken doll.
