Monroe Shocks & Struts OESpectrum 5796 Shock Absorber

The OESpectrum 5796 is the BEST replacement for 2006 Ford Focus 2.0 4 Door Sedan (with a trunk). I'm told these fit nearly every other small sedan as well, but that's hearsay to be checked first. You can get the full mount specs / piston travel shock length all over the net. These are Top Stud with dual rubber sandwich hardware, and the bottom has the standard Eyelet mount. I should take off (subtract) ONE STAR due to one of my hardware packets was missing the Top Stud NUT.. I had to use one of my old ones.. and these are Lock-Nuts so a typical nut lying in the nut bin won't work.. well.. it might work then fall off later down the road.. that would be something to witness! My previous 5796's lasted about eight years on this car.. seems like excessive wear I suppose, but any dummy can change these in half hour. Speaking on stupid design and excessive wear.. so.. how do you guys like those motor and transmission mounts? What a joke of engineering that was.... then Mazda used the same dumb design.. mounts every five years! Anyway.. like these shocks.. just toss those ridiculous top hardware that was OEM with factory shocks, and use these 5796's instead.. you'll never look back!
