They seem quite durable

Monoprice's audio cables are unusually large in diameter. I must assume that extra diameter comes from a super-thick rubber jacket, which should mean that these are very roadworthy and durable. I have not pulled off the connectors' shrouds to see the soldering job, but in my past experience, Monoprice cables are well-made and will handle at least semi-pro usage. For my own application, the thickness isn't necessarily desirable - I'm doing permanent mounting of monitor speakers on the ceiling in my rehearsal room, so the cables will probably be connected just once and never removed.

Incredible cables!

These cables are amazing. I purchase MP StageRight xlr cables whenever possible. At around $1/ft they are absolutely unbeatable. The button is comfortable to use, and feel like neutrik connectors. At this price, I would even consider them a "throw away" brand if one went bad, but I can't recall ever having one go bad. These are thick and far superior to Livewire or Mogami. Mogami is a rip off. Sure you get "lifetime guarantee", but when a cable goes bad, who has time or wants to make the effort of shipping one back in and waiting for a new one.
